| Open House |
Welcome to
Hanceville Elementary School! I am so
excited to have you join our kindergarten class! My name is Jeannie Fine. We are going to have lots of fun learning,
reading, writing, playing, singing, building, and more. Please practice reading
every day with your parents! Please
bring your parents to our classroom at Open House on Thursday, August 15th. You can come any time between 5pm and
7pm. Since the first day of school is
such a busy day, I recommend bringing your school supplies to Open House. I ask that you do not label any supplies
except for the plastic box, scissors, and backpack.
I will need you to bring your bus number or
information about transportation home. The office will have a table set up with
bus driver/bus route information. If you
plan to ride the bus home for the first time, you must ride the bus to school
in order for the bus driver to know where you live.
This year for
kindergarten students only, we are starting school a little bit differently. The kindergarten students will be divided in
half for the first two days of school.
Students with the last name beginning with letters A through F will
attend on Monday, August 19. Students
with the last name beginning with the letters G through Z will attend on
Tuesday, August 20. All students will
attend on Wednesday, August 21.
