Happy New Year!
/https://sites.google.com/a/ccboe.org/mrs-fine-kindergarten/Happy New Year to all of you. It was wonderful to wake up to the snow on Christmas morning. I hope that all of you enjoyed your holiday. As we start a new year, I hope that you will consider some school year resolutions that you will not break. Read with your student each school day. If you are not reading with your student, then reading four to five days out of the week is a great way to spend some quality time with your student. It is a great way to help your student become a more successful reader. I always enjoyed reading with my children as part of the nightly process of getting ready for bedtime. This reading time was a fun time and not homework. Find a specific skill that will help your student become more successful. Ask your teacher what your student needs to work on that will help your student become stronger. Eat lunch at school. You will be surprised at how each and every student will want to have interaction with you. It is a great way to get to know your student's friends. Volunteer at your school. Just once a month or once a week will help your school. Don't be shy, get involved at your school. You can make a difference!
