Unit 2 Reading Test

http://sites.google.com/a/ccboe.org/mrs-fine-kindergartenThe unit two reading test will be in the next two weeks.  A review page for reading test unit 2 has been sent home prior to this date(Nov.8).    If you have any questions about the test or how to help your child prepare for the test, please let me know.  I will be happy to review with you.  The unit 2 sight words are:  he, me, we, like, for, have and is.  The test also includes recognition of beginning sounds, medial sounds and a listening comprehension test.  Thank you for helping your student review for the test.

Happy Halloween

Trick-or-Treat!!!  Happy Halloween.  Our students paraded through the halls to each classroom to fill up our treat bags.  Everyone enjoyed seeing all of the great costumes.  Several parents dropped by to see the festivities. The HHS football team, escorted by Coach Miller, came by to visit.  We had our pictures made with the football team.  We gave away a little too much candy to the first few classes and ran out but Mrs. James shared her candy with our class.  The lunchroom was a highlight to our day as the serving area was blocked off and decorated.  It was a little scary for the students but we made it through.  Overall, it was a great day and a lot of memories were created.
